How to Prepare for a Breathwork Session in the Salt Cave at Purple Sage

To make the most of your Breathwork in the Salt Cave experience, we invite you to prepare intentionally and arrive ready to relax, release, and restore.

Before the Session:

  • Wear Comfortable Clothing – Choose loose, cozy attire that allows your body to expand and move freely with your breath. The Salt Cave is kept cool for comfort, so consider bringing a light layer or blanket.

  • Hydrate Well – Drink plenty of water before and after your session to support detoxification and energy flow through your body.

  • Eat Lightly – Enjoy a light meal or snack beforehand; a full stomach can make deep breathing more challenging.

  • Arrive a Few Minutes Early – Give yourself time to settle into the calm environment of the Salt Cave and transition gently from your day before the session begins.

During the Breathwork:

  • Find a Comfortable Position – You’ll be reclining or lying down in an anti-gravity lounge chair. Feel free to bring a small pillow or blanket to support your comfort.

  • Follow Your Breath – Allow Rachel’s gentle guidance to lead you through intentional breathing patterns that promote release, balance, and renewal.

  • Stay Open & Present – It’s normal for emotions or sensations to arise during breathwork. Simply notice them and return to your breath as your anchor.

After the Session:

  • Move Gently – Take a few moments to stretch and come back to the present before standing or leaving the Salt Cave.

  • Hydrate & Reflect – Drink water and, if you wish, jot down any insights or feelings that surfaced during your session.

Let yourself fully embrace this restorative experience, where conscious breath and the healing properties of salt therapy come together to support your wellness, clarity, and inner balance.
